Eytan Nielsen achieves dismissal in East High School case

Charges of failure to report sex assault of student against East High School staffers dismissed

Criminal charges of “child abuse-failure to report” for a sexual assault of a student at Denver East High School against four current and former staffers at the school have been dismissed.
The misdemeanor charges, according to court records, were dismissed Monday against former principal Andy Mendelsberg; former assistant principal Jann Peterson; Anita Curtiss, school psychologist; and Eric Sinclair, a dean.
